Plasma

Plasma cutting is based on thermal and mechanical action of a jet of gas heated by an electric arc established between a current electrode located in the torch and the workpiece.

The plasma jet launched against the workpiece penetrates the entire thickness cutting, melting and casting material.

The main advantage of this system lies in its reduced risk of deformation due to thermal compaction of the cutting area. With plasma cutting greater precision and cleanliness in the cutting area with the conventional flame cutting.

The main gases used for a plasma are argon, hydrogen, nitrogen, air or mixtures of these gases.

We have new machines with cutting capacity for sheet size 12 000 * 4000 mm

This process cut:

* Carbon steels from 1 mm to 50 mm (by increasing the thickness of the cut material loses quality)
* Cut from 0.5 mm to 35 mm in stainless steel and special steels

The shape and size of the part is defined by our technical cliente.Desde prepare the various work orders that are sent by the numerically controlled machine with all the nformation needed to cut as precisely as possible the material required by the client.
